Guidance and Counselling
At GIS, education is designed to help individuals become productive members of society. Central to this approach are various guidance and counselling services and programs organized by the Centre for Career Guidance and Counselling Cell, aimed at equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for academic, career, and personal/social success.
Guidance and Counselling
Guidance and Counselling
- Individual and Group Counselling Sessions: Students receive support to manage emotional conflicts, personal challenges, and psychological issues that may affect their studies. These sessions help them develop problem-solving skills to navigate various life challenges.
- Career Guidance: Students receive comprehensive advice on career paths, courses, and job opportunities, enabling them to make informed decisions after completing their education.
- Workshops for Parents: To foster collaboration between schools and parents and enhance children's academic and social success, several workshops, orientation programs, and parent-teacher meetings are organized throughout the year.
- Workshops for Teachers: Interactive and experiential workshops are held to raise teachers' awareness of various psychological disorders such as learning disabilities, ADHD, and autism. The goal is to empower teachers with strategies to improve the classroom environment and address diverse student needs.
